CET Haryana Syllabus : Common Eligibility Test (CET) is a common test which is to be conducted by Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) to fill Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ vacancies of various department in Haryana. Today in this post we are going to discuss about CET Haryana Syllabus.

Haryana CET prelims exam paper has been prepared by Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) and conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Therefore the CET Haryana Syllabus is set by HSSC.

HSSC said that the Haryana CET exam will be of total 95 Marks carrying 100 Questions in the paper. Five marks are reserved for the candidates belonging to socio-economic background, for that criteria has been set by Haryana Government.

CET Haryana Syllabus

Candidates who have filled Haryana CET Form & are going to sit in this examination, should know about the syllabus of this exam. Beside the syllabus they must have knowledge about the pattern of this examination.

Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is about to conduct Haryana CET Mains Exam in the month of May 2023 onwards. So it is the high time for any aspirant to gear up their preparation so that they could clear this examination.

For the details of the exam pattern & syllabus candidate can visit the official website of HSSC. HSSC said that the exam pattern would be same as that they have followed for the other recruitment process.

Haryana CET Exam Pattern

In the year of 2022, it is the first time that Haryana government has conducted a common eligibility test (first phase) that is named as Haryana CET exam. This eligibility test will be just like as a preliminary examination for Group ‘C’ vacancies of the state & final test for Group ‘D’ vacancies.

After appearing in CET examination, the candidate who will qualify the cut-off set by the HSSC will be provided a CET Score card just like HTET score card. That score card will be valid for Three years from the date of the CET examination.

For the Group ‘C’ vacancies recruitment the CET exam score will be used as a pre test. The Marks obtained by the candidate will decide whether he/she is eligible for the Main examination for the notified vacancy.

It is also said by the HSSC that it is upto the recruiting department whether they want to take main examination or not. The recruiting department can use the CET score card for the final selection of the candidate for the vacant post.

Haryana CET Pre Exam Pattern

Lets now discuss about Haryana CET exam pattern. Haryana CET Exam will be 95 Marks Carrying 100 Questions. The division of the questions will be as given in table below-

Note :

• The Questions asked in Haryana CET Exam will be Objective Type.
• The Duration of the exam will be 1 hour 30 minutes.
• There will be no negative marking in Haryana CET Exam.

CET Haryana Syllabus 2023 (Prelims)

In the Haryana CET exam there will be questions from Current Affairs, General Awareness, Haryana GK, Arithmetic, Reasoning, General Science, English, Hindi and Computer.
